Family Involvement Council
The Minnesota Family Involvement Council is a committee of the Foundation that works to enhance the future of the credit union movement by providing financial awareness solutions. The FIC conducts an annual scholarship program, awarding funds to Minnesota credit union members throughout the state, an endeavor made possible through its annual Silent Auction. The FIC also works on variety of other initiatives throughout the year.

In the summer of 2010, the Family Involvement Council surveyed Minnesota credit unions to identify those interested in working with schools to further financial education. Whether serving as a guest speaker in the classroom or working in another capacity, this resource is a good starting point for educators. Please feel free to contact these individuals directly to work toward a mutually-beneficial relationships.
